Is Love Inevitable?!?

Preface:

Hi Readers,

This is a story with traces of reality hidden, elucidating the life of a twenty five year old IT professional,who doesn't believe in love.But the unlike poles attract each other;Love tries to enter his life and creates a roller coaster ride.

The story will be written as chapters and hence you are welcome to read it one by one and share your comments/thoughts.

Chapter 1: 

It is in the mid of December in Chennai.The cool breeze was blowing all around.It was early in the morning which was still dark.Vinay, snoozed the alarm and started sleeping again.After few minutes, his Mom came shouting,

Vinay???Its 6am.Get up!!!You have to get ready for your work.Its not Sunday today.

Vinay: Mom!Give me few more minutes,I will wake up at 6.30am.Please..

Mom:"Kanna, U have your company bus to start at 7.15 am and still you want to sleep!Common get up get up.

Mom came into the room and started shaking Vinay.

Vinay: Amma (Mom)! I will get up.Leave me please.Don't shake me.

Vinay got up and it was 6.45am when he was ready to take off from home.

Vinay: Mom, still its very very cold!Should I have to go to the office today? I am going to take leave.I am going to be sick.Its irritating, the same project, the same discussions with no good end results.OMG!

Mom: Vinu, You were on your vacation leave last week and now you are planning for a sick leave.This is bad.You need to work for at least half of what you are being paid.Common hurry up.

Vinay: Ah!I am working for more than double of what I am being paid.You should not tell this in spite of knowing by pathetic situation.

Mom: Ha ha, You chose this job, You need to face it.If you don't like it, try choosing what you are good at.I have been telling you this for the past five years.Still you are lamenting and continuing with what you are doing and not taking any steps to focus on your passion, dancing.

Yes Vinay is a very good dancer who has won lots of accolades right from his schooling.He has been even performing at various events in his work place.He wants to become a full time dancer and achieve many things.His mom is also ready to support him for that.Still he is unable to come out of his current IT job due to various reasons.

Vinay: Mom, leave this topic.I'm going to the office now.Bye! See you in the evening (may be late night LOL)

Mom: That's the spirit.I know you my boy.I know what works with you.Bye.Eat well and work well.

It was 7.20am when Vinay's company bus stared.He is the first to board and it will take another 1.5 hours minimum to reach his office which is at Kelambakkam.

Vinay as usual tried to listen to songs but finally ended up sleeping due to the weather.

It was 8.30 in the morning, when his colleague Kamesh woke him up.

Kamesh: Hey Vinay, what deep sleeping ah!! Dreaming ah!!Katrina or Deepika?"

Vinay: (sudden wake up)OH!Gosh!I thought it should be you.Katrina, Deepika!ha ha.I was trying to get a logic for which I have been struggling all the time yesterday.I was almost done when you forcibly awakened me.

Kamesh: What!! You are sick.....always you think about your coding.Do you not get attracted to girls?Or are you fed up of doing that?you look handsome, but still you never seem to indulge in any discussions about girls.?Why are you like this.Work Work Work!!bad!

Vinay: Hey please stop this OK.I know who I am and what I am doing?You sit and travel along that's it.

Kamesh: Hm..Don't talk as if you are a celibate.

Vinay: No more talks.I am going to continue my nap.Bye.

Vinay is a guy who is not much interested in love.He does not have faith in love.He likes girls, but believes that his Mom is there for him to get the right girl for him. May be because he has been so casually mingling with girls right from when he was a child, he never talks to a girl with an idea of starting a relationship.

Kamesh: Hm I don't know how lot of girls talk to him.He is vague.Still.Girls glue to him like any thing.If I were him, I would have made many of them to fall for me.He is wasting his opportunities.

Other colleagues: Ya....Even we do have the same question.May be he is pretending to us to be a goody goody guy.

The gossiping went on till Vinay woke up again to get down from the transport.

Finally Kamesh ended the chat stating, "One day he will be caught in the love cycle and he is going to come to us that day.Lets see when it happens.

 Vinay, gave a sarcastic smile and went for the ID card check at the gate.

Chapter 2: 

Vinay is the person who trains the new hires in his team on the system &  technology.

His Project Manager, Krish came to Vinay and started 

Krish:Hey Man, Hows your work?

Vinay: Good Krish!(People call their managers, seniors by names in these IT companies (Corporate ethics!!) how ever old they are!)

Krish:Hm!That's ok.We have a new joiner in our team as you know and you will have to mentor the person for this week as usual.

Vinay: Oh! yeah we were talking about this some time back.Ok I can do it as usual.Who's that?

Krish: one min let me call..By the way I think you should be awarded a Masters in Mentoring soon (he-he)

Krish called, some one there!

Before the call went to the person, every one around were alarmed by the voice of Krish, (It was really an alarm call for those who were docile)

There turned a beautiful, tall, bubbly girl.Yes it is Mira, who Krish called.

Mira responded: Yes Krish, Iam coming there!JAM!

Guys and even girls there were at awe!!looking at her with open mouths.

She was wearing a pista green colored short Kurthi and a blue jean with open hair.She is in her early twenties.

She corrected her hair and started walking towards Krish with a stunning smile.

OMG! People there have gone mad almost to see such a splendid lady walking in the office after a long time.

The way she walked with her heel shoe made her more elegant.

There was pin drop silence prevailing.

She went to Vinay's place.

Vinay, this is Mira, the new one in our team.

Mira, this is Vinay, your senior and your mentor from now.

Mira very formally greeted Vinay and opened her hand for a shake.

Vinay very confidently with a light smile welcomed her and completed the hand shake.

Other staffs were exchanging looks and started passing comments.

 Krish, said: Mira, take your time and get to know the system and process very well.Vinay is an assert to our team.So its very good that you are being under his guidance.Any questions, concerns please feel free to talk to him and he will help you out with the best he can.

Mira: Sure Krish!I will.Thanks.

Vinay: He is always like this.He is very kind to talk all high about me..That's his majesty and his special way of encouraging his subordinates.
Well.No worries, I will take care of her Krish.You can relax.I will get back to you in the evening.Thanks.

 Krish took adieu and went to his cabin.

Still there were people watching this event continuously.It took time for them to realize that they are at work and to come back to normal.

Yes, truly it is after a gap employees could feel a green , pleasant atmosphere around them with the entry of Mira - the lovely female.

Mira is just a team mate now for Vinay who is not even bothered about how she is and is focusing only on the training activities.But the same girl has some role in his life's changes and we are going to see it .

Chapter 3:

That evening, the co-commuters were making fun of Vinay in the bus in regards to Mira's event in the morning. Few were envying about that as well. But as usual Vinay was not bothering about these and was giving don't care reactions to them.

Days passed and the mentoring sessions were going on in full swing. Many colleagues of Vinay had already tried to befriend Mira and very few were successful in accomplishing this great task. Mira has been very professional so far with everyone around. She always tries to be to the point and answers only to the questions asked .Even with the lady peers, she has been the same.

Coming to Mira’s past, she is from a wealthy family in the city which has full of professionals. Her Dad is a doctor and Mom is a Lawyer. She has one elder brother who is again a doctor. A doctor’s son has to be a doctor as an actor’s son does.

Mira is a well behaved child and she carries herself well. She knows what she can do and what she cannot do. She has been brought up in that way. She does not have many friends, as she is very choosy with friends. She loves to be modern in thoughts, attire but sticking on to the professional tinge.

In all, she is a cosmopolitan girl.

Back to our office, Vinay and Mira shared a good rapport as a mentor and a trainee. Vinay is always focused on work and as is Mira. Krish was happy with the mentoring sessions and Mira was getting on board.

During one such session, Kamesh (Vinay’s bus mate) came in to talk. He always tries to talk in multiple meanings. Here goes an extract from their conversation:

Kamesh: Hey Vinay, always busy with your sessions (!!), I mean the mentoring sessions.

Vinay: Yep, you know that already. So, what have you got for me to convey or to collect??????????

Vinay knows about his trait of peeping into other’s business and gossiping. He tries to manage well with people like Kamesh.

Kamesh: Ha-ha…I don’t have anything to collect. But have something to convey.

Vinay: Hm…Good…Will you take more than two minutes.I don’t have enough time for it. If it’s very important you can tell now. Else email me or IM
 (This is something common in IT companies, Instant Messages. People always try to chat internally with the internal chat application they have. It’s actually to be used judiciously at work. But people as we know try to use it excessively. Few even propose to girls using it. Few try to flirt. Few try to gossip and few use this as a symbol of their workaholic nature, by setting their status as ‘Do Not Disturb’ or ‘Busy At Work’ or ‘In A Meeting’ (may be with a friend too).)

Vinay continued, Sorry Mira, he has something to tell me, he says, let me just finish with him very quickly and get back.

Mira: Sure. Can I leave then for few mins?

Vinay: No, U can be here. Nothing personal here.

Kamesh: Hey, (trying to build a conversation with Mira), Mira, he is lying. It’s personal only, about his love life. He says indirectly that you can leave.Else. still, if he is asking you to stay here, then how should I take it????????????

Mira: Haan!!! A puzzled laugh!! Vinay, I think I will make a move.

Vinay: No, not at all. He is talking rubbish, trying to create a scene .No problem. You be here. It’s nothing personal.

Vinay does not want things getting delayed due to him at work. He does not want to create any such impressions too. So he does not want Mira to go away for few minutes now, as the break time was over and also Krish would notice it.

Kamesh: Hey Vinay, don’t hide or don’t try act too smart OK. She knows who you are.

Vinay: Hey please stop it man. Tell what you want. Already your two minutes are over. We are running out of time. OK. Understand please.

Kamesh: Hey, why are you getting tensed bro?! Cool Cool. I won’t reveal anything about you this soon. She herself will come to know in the near future completely.

I came to tell about a change in our bus route from this evening. The Admin Head wanted to talk about this to our bus mates. Hence, I wanted to pull in you as well.

Got it?? When do you feel, you have time to come and meet the person?. By the way, its ‘she’, as you know. So you will have time I hope.

Vinay: Hey, alright, thanks for the info. Nothing more to talk. I will talk to the Admin Head myself. You carry on.

Kamesh: Hello, you are trying to avoid me and send me away. Whatever it is, she will (Pointing to Mira) come to know about your true colors someday soon. Don’t act like a perfect gentle man. The whole world knows about you...OK…

Vinay: That’s all. It’s done. Please move from here. Bye. Mira, can you please come with me .We will go to the meeting room so that we don’t have any unnecessary disturbances.

Kamesh: Haa!! Going to a meeting room all of a sudden... Hm!! You carry on!!!!!!. Kamesh gave some sarcastic looks and finally left.

Vinay & Mira entered the meeting room.

Vinay: Mira, Sorry for what ever has happened. He is like that. Just leave it, for my sake at least.

Mira: Hey Vinay, No problem. I have seen such people elsewhere too. But this was little strange than usual, as the guy does not know me and he started talking to me on an unprofessional context.

I know you.I have been observing you and working with you closely as a trainee in your team. You are such a professional guy and an awesome mentor.

I always look up to you.

Vinay: That’s so nice of you Mira. Glad that you are matured and understanding in this regard. Your experience speaks. OK, I just left my laptop on my desk, let me go and pick it up quickly and get back.

Mira: Fine Vinay, Please.

In the meantime, Kamesh was trying to cook up some new stories and scandals about Vinay & Mira based on the things happened.

Someone in the group asked, hey Kamesh, What are you trying to do by spreading this one, is it for conveying that you are associated to Mira???

Kamesh: Hi-hi, Yes, of course, she knows me and I have been talking to her.

The same person in the group murmured, he-he, is it!!!But what you are doing seems like you are not doing anything and its Vinay who is leading.

Everyone in the crowd laughed and giggled.

Kamesh said: Confidence Boss!!!, I am leaving bye and ran away from the sight.

That evening in the bus Vinay, did not utter a single word on this thing, when talked and hyped about in the bus. People were wondering, what was happening around.

Chapter 4:

It was exactly 2 months since Mira joined the firm. She had just a couple of days of training left with her lovely mentor.

She entered the office and met Vinay face to face:

Mira: Hi Mentor! Good Morning!

Vinay: Hey Girl, Very Good Morning! Left your bus today???

Mira: No, Vinay. I don’t come in the bus. I come in my Scooty.

Vinay: Oh!! I did not know this. You never told me .I thought you come and go in the office bus.

Mira: hm. We never talked about this so far. I have even stayed for few hours after the office hours and learnt few things. But you will not know about this may be, as we have not talked about this at all. Krish knows it, as he is my manager.

Vinay: Yep, we have not come across this topic.

Mira: Not this topic for that matter. It’s not any other topic apart from the training topics. LOL

Vinay: Haa!! So you mean to say that I am like a training machine!!!!!!!!!! Nothing else than training, hm, LOL

Mira: haha, No, You did rather, you do what you have to do, nothing extra. It’s a compliment. Please take it in the right sense. I don’t have the position & ability to comment on you. You are my senior, leader.

Vinay: That’s pretty fine. I respect you always. You are talented. You have learnt a lot in this short time. You have also stayed late to learn things correctly at a fast pace. I usually extend if there is a project need. But since I was in the mentoring program, I dint have anything to stretch and stay back here. By the way, where do you reside?

Mira: Thank you Vinay. I stay in Thoraipakkam, not so far but not so near from here.

Vinay: Oh! Thoraipakkam, I know, near the Jain college there, I had been working earlier. That’s not far compared to my place. But it’s quite far. I appreciate your confidence. You travel in your own vehicle in this traffic and dusty roads. Seriously, Kudos.

Mira: Ha, that’s nothing big Vinay. There are people,I  mean girls who travel a lot in their private vehicle, work for late hours, and then get back home in midnight's. Considering them, it’s nothing big really. Still, thank you for your encouragement as always. You said you stay far from the office. Where is it actually? If you would like to share it, you can.

Vinay: That was a good speech in deed from you on travel and girls. Well, what’s there in sharing my place of residence? Are you planning to kid nap me?????? LOL. I stay at Madipakkam.

Mira: Madipakkam, Oh, I know this place. My uncle stays there. I visit him often. It’s far only from Kelambakkam.I will appreciate you now for your patient traveling in the bus for more than three hours a day. You should be starting early in the mornings then. If you will have to miss the bus any day, then it will take more time.

Vinay: Oh! You know Madipakkam, Good. Now it’s your turn to praise me LOL. It’s a bit tough journey indeed. But I am used to it by now. I will have paid cabs available at the office, if I miss the bus in the evening. They don’t charge much, so I am using it. I think, you are from Chennai basically, that’s why you know Madipakkam and all. People here from other places don’t know about our areas and it’s tough for me to make them understand. Thank god, Krish is from Chennai.

Mira: Yep, you are correct, I am from Chennai. You are a smart boss. You guessed right. Good to know about the cab thing and about Krish being from Chennai too. Will I get that cab facility, just in case I need it any time?

Vinay: Yes, Chennai girl, you can get it. It’s a paid service irrespective of cadres or the roles or the departments. If you can afford, you can use it.

Mira: Hm! you said you were working near Thoraipakkam, where was it? 3I Infotech??

The conversation went on and on and on. Both are professionals exhibiting cent percent professionalism. Though Vinay talks to girls easily, he maintains his limits in the office. Mira, never ever reaches the point of crossing limits. But in this case, the chemistry worked. Smart people fascinate smart people and there is a frequency matching that is working out here.

It was more than half past Nine when Krish entered the office. Still, Mira & Vinay were busy talking at the entrance. By this time, there were people looking at them and passing by. Krish, with a smile started:

Hey, Guys, training at the entrance itself?? So workaholic’s you are!!!

Vinay & Mira just shook out of a shock and realized what was happening around.

Vinay: Krish, Good Morning. That was a good one from you in the start of the day.

Mira: Good Morning Krish, too, early today.

Krish: Good Morning folks. Mira, I am not early. It’s around 9.45 am and you are at the door step still busy with your trainer. So it seems that way to you. LOL.

Mira: Looking at the watch, yep!!!! With a sign of exclamation!! Sorry Krish, we were just talking about the training's to be done for the left over days and we were about to leave to the desks.

Vinay: With a sigh!! Huh! Yes, Mira is right. That’s what we were doing.

Krish: No apologies and all girl. That’s fine. It happens. But this is the first time it’s happening to you both here. Vinay you are little puzzled and nervous for the first time to me. What’s happening man!!!!

Vinay: Well, not like that Krish. I did not expect you all of a sudden. So may be little uneasy.

Krish: You did not expect me!! I will have to come to the office via this entrance only. OK then whom were you expecting?

Mira was constantly looking at Vinay and was not sure of where it is going and how this conversation will end.

Vinay: No, Krish, not like that, (glancing at Mira), it just happened. Anyways, we will carry on. Meet you in some time. Bye.

Mira: (With a smile), bye Krish.

Both disappeared in a fraction of a second as it comes in movies.

Krish was wondering on what he witnessed now. He had not seen such a restless Vinay so far and Mira with lots of question marks on her face.

Vinay went to the meeting room and gave an Instant Message (IM) in the office communicator to Mira, asking her to come there once she has refreshed herself.

Mira went to the restroom. She was looking her at the mirror.

She was talking to herself.

“Mira, why did you not realize that you were getting late for the training? You were talking to a guy for more than half an hour that too in the morning and that too some personal talks? How and why did this happen? May be because, the trainer was only talking, you didn’t mind it? Or maybe you liked talking to him? Is it due to the respect you have for him? Why did you get confused when Krish wished Good Morning? And why did you say that you were talking about the remaining training's with Vinay to Krish? It was just a casual talk right? Why was Vinay nervous? All are coincidences and reactions to new situations??? What’s it????”

She was interrogating herself a lot. Then finally she decided to go for the training as it’s delayed already and the mentor would be waiting for her.

Mira looked at her IM in the system and rushed to the meeting room.

Mira: Vinay, Excuse me!

Vinay: Yes, Mira, Come in.

There was a pin drop silence prevailing in the room for few minutes.

Mira broke the ice finally. Vinay, perplexed? Why? Due to the incident happened some time back?

First of all, sorry for what happened. It was my training and I should have been careful with the timings. I had put you in a fix with Krish and this was the first time it happened to you. I don’t know what Krish would have felt. I should have not paved way for your bad impression, for all the good training's you had given me till date.

Please come out of it. Let’s do the training.

Vinay: With a pause, and a smile, Mira, no you need not feel sorry girl. You neither did anything wrong nor I. We just talked casually and it went on for some time, well more than half an hour. I have not faced such a situation with Krish all this time. So was little worried. Nothing big. He will make fun of me, that’s all. You somehow managed it. Thank you for that. Yes, let’s do the stuff.

Vinay acted as a matured lead. But still, he had the same set of questions that Mira had for her in the restroom.

The session was not as interactive as it used to be. Both were little hesitant and reluctant and were still hanging on the morning thing.

After few minutes, Mira interrupted Vinay,

Vinay, Can you please stop here. I am unable to focus. I don’t know, I feel guilty for the incident. What Can I do now? Can I talk to Krish about this personally and apologize?

Vinay: Hey, common. I too had thoughts on this happening and I could observe the same in you too. No worries, girl. Just leave it.This is nothing. I will talk to Krish. I know him better. So you need not feel guilty about this at all, absolutely. We did not do any crime. OK.

Mira: Hm! But then why did you have the same thoughts? Do you feel bad for this or for me or at me? Please be frank.

Vinay: (Silence….) I was feeling bad for you. You are new here and Krish should not have any bad impressions about you due to my behavior. I will manage somehow, as I know Krish well and he knows me too.

But OK, we will come out of it. Can we go for a coffee?

Mira: (after a second of thinking), sure, why not, I too want to have one. Can we go the Pantry or to the Café in the ground floor?

Vinay: We will go to the ground floor. Our pantry is not a good place to talk.

Both left for the café.

This was the first time; Vinay and Mira go in for an unofficial talk. Both usually don’t go with the opposite gender for refreshment breaks and all, unless required officially.

Vinay was pressing the lift button, when the security at the reception wished him. Mira followed him. When the lift opened, Vinay requested Mira to enter the lift first and he followed then. There was no one else in the lift.

Both of them were looking down as both were debutantes in this regard, I mean traveling alone together in the same lift.

Mira started; do you visit this cafe Vinay frequently?

Vinay: Hm, not so frequently. But at times, with Krish or with some other guy in the team or alone. What about you?

Mira: I go with Yamini in the Finance, who stays near my house, but that too not very often. I go alone or with some other girl in our team and most importantly I am in the training with a punctual mentor. So how can I take time to come and here and create a delay?

Vinay: Haha!! Are you making fun of me? The same mentor who talked without even noticing the time??????

Mira: Hey, I tried to come out of it and change the topic, see you are getting into it again. We are going for this coffee to relax and continue our session, hassle free.

Vinay: Ok ok, Sorry. Leave it.

Mira: Hm! ok then we have reached the ground floor. Let’s go come.

Both went to the café. Few of the colleagues were also there who were noting this historical event.

Vinay started: What shall we have Mira?

Mira: Shall we???? Good one. You dint ask what I wanted to have. So you are going to have what I wish to have?

Vinay: Yes, you are my guest today. I am going to sponsor this  as a token of you being an intelligent and a smart trainee.

Mira: Hey, that's so nice of you.It should be my treat for all the wonderful knowledge sharing that you have done so far.So , I will pay for you.

Vinay: Trainer first, then the trainee.So we will have your treat soon.I appreciate your noble notion!! LOL

Mira: OK, first let's order.

Vinay: Yeah, Menu Card please...

Both of them ordered a chocolate milk shake and got seated.

Vinay: So, you like chocolate flavor.

Mira: Well, yes, I do.But black currant is my most favorite.Its not here.So chose the best of the lot.

Vinay: Oh!! So, if you don't get what you want, you go for a different one.

Mira: What do you mean? Its just for the drink I said.

Vinay: Ok ok , Nothing, Just asked..

Mira: Hmm....So, you also like chocolate.

Vinay: No, not really.I said that I will have what you have.So I did that.But it does not mean that I hate  chocolate flavor.I do drink this.But not my favorite though,   

Mira: Oh, so nice of you.People don't even treat their fellow- beings as humans.But you were awesome to respect my thoughts  even for a small thing like this.

Vinay: Haha, don't think big..Its just a small thing.So no problem.Ok...LOL......

 Mira: With a laugh!! Oh! I see. 

Vinay: OK, lets be quick and go continue our session.

Mira: Yes, I thought you will say this.Take it positively, please.I meant your sincerity.

Vinay: Hey, you made fun of me is it!!! OK OK ..No worries...I will keep it in my mind.

Mira: Hey , just kidding Sir!!

Vinay: I too was......LOL

They did finish their drink and were about to move.All of a sudden, there was some one calling, hey both , you are here?????    

Both turned back and it was the same Krish..Both were again stuck for a moment.

Right from the scratch again!!!! (the thought that flashed their minds)

Krish: Hey why, such an expression.I just saw you guys here.So called you.What else? 

Vinay , why are you dull suddenly? All this time I saw you talking and smiling.

Vinay:  Nothing like that Krish. I am normal only.

Mira: Yeah Krish, he is normal only.He will be back now.

Krish: oh! Mira you additionally do a P.A. job to him? LOL

 Mira: Haa!!  (with a pause), Krish, no I just wanted to say 'we' and it ended be as 'he'again heads down with a sigh.

Krish: Oh!! I see, its we, so you are proclaiming that you are normal anticipating the same question to you too or to keep a full stop to this conversation!!Too Smart girl!!

Mira: Krish, Oh! No, nothing of that sort.I wanted to say something but it became something  . I am not in my form!sorry, Krish.If it  was offensive by any means.

 Krish: No No, I was just kidding.You dint do anything offensive.Rather you tried to be defensive.But U could not.May be your trainer was making you not to do that.He should train you on that as well.What Vinay!!

Vinay: Well, no comments Krish.Joining us or can we leave?

Krish: Wow, escapist, great!! go ahead.I have to meet another person here.You guys carry on.Have fun.

Vinay: Haha.Thanks Krish.   See you.come Mira.

Mira: Bye, Krish.Thank you.

Krish: No worries.Go on.

Krish went with a smile.Vinay & Mira reached the elevator space and were standing still.

Vinay started, what madam? feeling dull? unhappy with what happened just now?

Mira: Haa, No Vinay , nothing.I am normal.

Vinay: Haa, you are trying to be normal.I know you are not.Common.what made you feel dull? Krish is a very nice guy.He is a wise guy too. He talks and makes fun at times.In the same way he did to us.That's all.Just leave it.    

Mira: Yeah, I understand that.Still, I am new here and less experienced than you.So just kicked off to be a Roman in Rome.

Vinay: Well, OK, it happens.So , straight back to the training room? or to my place?

Mira: Yes, just gimme 5 mins and will be back there to the training room?

Vinay: Sure, I do need the same 5 mins.

Mira: Can I tell something to you, if you don't mind.

Vinay: Sure, but are you going to tell me something that I will mind?!(JKB)

Mira: what's that JKB boss?

Vinay: Just Kidding Buddy.

Mira:  oh abbreviation!! hm...OK can I tell or not?

VInay: Please, if you wish to.

Mira: You handle things in a cool way Vinay. you are also nervous at times.I could feel that.But still, you handle them easily.I feel this way.

Vinay: Haha, I don't know what made you tell that so soon.But I did feel bad in the morning and I gave confused expressions to Krish.I did take it little to the heart.Even some time back, I did that way to some extent.But still , may be I am good at getting back to normal soon.

Mira: Oh, ya may be.

Vinay: OK, lets not again meet Krish here in the entrance.Its enough for the day.Lets get ready for the session.

Mira: Yep!!LOL

         

Chapter 5: 

The time has to come for everything to happen. The same is with Mira & Vinay.Though both are professional and both wanted to maintain decorum, dignity and self respect at the work place, and though there has not been much happening between them, there are people who hook them up and they also know that. But still the rapport between them has developed.They did go for coffee twice.It was the last day of the training session and here goes the episode.

Vinay on the IM: Hey Mira, Can we go to the room and wrap up the session? Its your last day today with me as a trainer.

Mira:  Hey boss, sure we can.

Both went to the room little earlier than the scheduled time.

Vinay: Hey girl, so finally you are saved today.

Mira: what? why should I be saved? 

Vinay: I know  you know it well. You are going to escape from my training and you can be happy.

Mira: So , you mean I was not happy so far? 

Vinay: No, not like that.My training's could have lessened your happiness quotient.

Mira: I think its a JKB.How come , that could happen? You know that I have been liking and learning a lot from your training sessions and you say this.Are you that very humble? or are you trying to degrade yourself?     I don't think you will do the later.

Vinay: Hm, you started to talk well now.Good.I feel I am your good colleague and not a trainer any more.

Mira: I always talk well.But still, it takes time to get along.I think we share a good rapport.But I will never forget that you have been my trainer at work.

Vinay: Hm, nice to know.But apart from training I have not guided or taught you anything, correct? 

Mira: You came to be my trainer on job and you did that very well.That's all.

Vinay: Haa, I see.OK. you don't want to deviate from the training I hope.Let us begin then.

Mira: Sorry, I dint mean that way Vinay.whats there now with the training.Its almost over.Just few questions and that's all.

Vinay: OK.Lets do that.

Mira: Your face dropped suddenly.Sir, what happened to you? Did I tell anything wrongly? or have I crossed my limits?

Vinay: No, No, not at all.U are professional.I tried to deviate from what I have to do.

Mira: Hey, can I ask you something? 

Vinay: Yes, sure.

Mira; Can we go for a lunch out today? 

Vinay: Lunch out? what special?

Mira: I don't know, I feel like getting you something  for the best training's that you have given me.
I don't want to gift something and make it formal and unofficial.So I wanted to take you out for a lunch.

Vinay: haaa, that's so sweet of you.But U did not bring lunch?

Mira: Yes, I did not and I know you too did not bring , as you just talked to you Mom about that .Sorry, I heard it and not over heard it.

Vinay: OH!!!! I see.Well, I have just gone for team lunches so far and not with any girl individually.But that does not mean that I wont come out with you.

Mira: What do you mean? I am not a girl, then!!!!!!!!!!

Vinay: No no, not like that.I will come out with you, no problem I said.

Mira: You actually react the way I have to, as a girl.

Vinay: hey, I am quite confined and traditional.Though, not narrow minded.

Mira: hm...Even I am not narrow minded.its OK.Lets go for lunch today.

Vinay: Order ah!!

Mira: No, my request is that you should not reject.

Vinay: OK Ma'am.sure.My pleasure.

Mira: Thank you boss.

Vinay: Your questions?? I do have some other work for the day.

Mira:haa, you are toooooooo focused.OMG!!!

Vinay: Is it? let it be.Your questions?

Mira: Oh no!! OK, let me ask it now or else you will kill me , I hope.

Vinay: Mira!!!!

Mira: Alright, focused!!!!!LOL

Vinay: That's a mark of a good girl.     

Mira: Ahaan!!!My question is...

The conversation went on and on and on, by the end, not only  the questions were answered, but also the relationship got improved. 

Mira: (In the IM) Hey Mr.Trainer, Its 1 pm..Can we start as planned to Barbeque grill restaurant?

Vinay: Hey girl, sure why not? I am starting now.Common.

Mira: ok, me too.

One second, Can we meet at the gate and not anywhere here?

Vinay: Haa, (after a small thought), yeah ok.I understand.

Mira: Thank you.

At the gate:

Mira: Hi man, so can we?

Vinay: Yes, but why were you little scared when you came till the gate.I was following you at a distance (unintentionally) and I happened to see it.?

Mira: Oh!, you noticed that (unintentionally)??? OK. will tell you once we reach the place.Lets move from here.

Vinay: Ah! I see..OK.come let's walk.

It takes 5 minutes to reach the restaurant by walk.But unfortunately on the way, the epic gossiper Kamesh spotted the two and stopped Vinay.
 
Kamesh: Hey, Guys where are you heading to?

Vinay: Where our legs head there we are going.

Kamesh: Oh!, where your legs head to then?

Vinay: You should ask them.You want my shoes or Mira's shoes for that matter, they will tell you better.

Kamesh: Hey, you talk too much. this is bad.What Mira, you will not ask him about it?

Vinay: Hey, why are you including her now? She does not know you at all.Its between me & you and I talk too much correct, so why do you have to talk to me then, please go ahead to where you have to.

Mira: Hey Vinay, please its getting late, can we go ?

Kamesh: Hey, you guys think and talk too much.Let me see when time comes.Vinay, I will see you in the cab.

Vinay: Yes, unfortunately for me too the same thing.Bye.

Both started and Kamesh was staring at them like a villain.

Mira: Hey, what's this we tried our best, but still this guy saw it.He is the main whatsapp here.

Vinay: Don't worry.Barking dogs seldom bite.   

Mira: Hmm... Let's hope the best!!LOL

Both of the them reached the restaurant.

Chapter 6:

At the Grills!!!

Waiter: How many people Sir?

Vinay: A table for two.

Waiter: Please wait Sir!

Vinay: Sure.

In a minute's time they were seated in a table for two people.

Vinay: Mira, you want to try buffet?

Mira: Why not, sure, if you are good to go for it.

Vinay: Ok sure, then let's try.

Vinay called the waiter and told the same.

Waiter: Veg or Non Veg Sir?
